Flamingos at a wildlife park are being played classic soul tracks by Barry White and Marvin Gaye in an effort to persuade them to mate. The Chilean flamingos at Drusillas Park in East Sussex have not been hugely successful at producing chicks and so staff have been playing them music as well as recorded mating calls in order to encourage them to mate. It seems they might have been successful because a chick has recently hatched and three further eggs are currently being incubated.
