Back on to pipe cleaners, we tried our hand at a few snakes. I think they worked out quite well.

Leftover Chicken Sandwich
Another cheap meal made from the remains of a roast chicken, grilled red peppers and plenty of crunchy salad in a crusty roll.
Leftover Chicken Stir Fry
Another meal made from leftover roast chicken. This one just has the leftover leg and thigh meat for a bit more flavour. Strips of red cabbage pepper and some noodles.
Grilled Sea Bass
This is grilled sea bass with basil pesto and grilled tomatoes. It works really well and gets the thumbs up as a dish which takes less than 15 minutes to cook.
Pipe Cleaner Spiders
These pipe cleaner spiders were just the thing to do on a recent rainy day. They just require a few pipe cleaners cut up for the legs and some self adhesive eyes and were played with for a good few hours afterwards.
Beetroot Soup
Another experiment with the soup maker. This time its beetroot soup. It contains beetroot, carrots, leeks, a stock cube and seasoning. Finished with a little feta cheese on the top, its not the most attractive dish but tastes quite good.
Squash Soup
The soup maker is great for using up leftover vegetables. This soup contained a small pumpkin, a couple of onions, carrots and a stock cube. The great thing about the soup maker is it does everything for you, you just need to cut up the vegetables and add the water. Served with crispy bread it…
