A Scottish Whiskey distillery has partnered with Celtic Renewables to turn it’s leftover whiskey into fuel for cars. The leftover whiskey from Tullibardine Distillery in Perthshire will be fed on by bacteria to produce butanol, a fuel that can be used in vehicles. The distillery produces thousands of tonnes of leftover products which cannot be sold as whiskey. It seems like a good idea to make use of a waste product.
