I read this article with interest about a man that has apparently created a video baby monitor. Whilst it is a very good idea I don’t think he has created it as such. The monitor can easily be set up by anyone who has the technical knowledge to do so with a basic night vision camera and simple software. I know this because we have been using a similar system since last year when my daughter was born. So it’s a great idea but hardly new and ground breaking.
