I found this article about a solar powered BBQ. Basically it reflects the suns rays from the mirror onto the cooking area providing heat without smoke or flames. I’m not convinced it would work that well in the UK; it seems whenever we light a BBQ we spend most of the day sitting outside with the umbrella trying to protect the fire from the rain. Still, its an interesting idea.
