This is interesting, it’s the story of a lady called Sarah Merker, who has just completed her quest to try a scone from every National Trust tearoom or restaurant. She recently completed her goal after visiting the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. It has taken her more than 10 years to visit all of the tearooms and she has reviewed each scone on her blog. That’s certainly a lot of places visited and a lot of scones. I had to look up my local National Trust properties and was pleased to see that Knole, Chartwell and Emmetts Garden, our most visited, all did quite well. I must stop for a scone next time.
