The raspberries continue to come and as there are far too many to eat I have been busy making further batches of jam. We already have enough to last us a good few months and there are still more berries growing, it’s certainly a good year for them. The thunder storm 2 nights ago has done wonders for the crops. Everything was looking a bit dry despite our constant watering but now all the plants have perked up nicely and a courgette appeared seemingly overnight. It’s the first one so far this year and was a nice treat with last night dinner. There are lots more coming so I expect we will soon has the usual glut and quickly become sick of them.
