This is an interesting but I think potentially dangerous experiment. Ross Edgley was trying to prove that body weight has little to do with body fat. In doing so he decided to try and cut as much water from his body as possible. He used diuretics, hot baths and exercised wearing bin bags to reduce the water stored in his body as much as he could. In doing so he managed to lose 2 stones in 24 hours. Obviously this form of weight loss is not recommended but it is certainly an interesting experiment. Personally I would recommend drinking more water as part of a diet and exercise plan but the experiment does show that rapid weight loss can be achieved if you are willing to try extreme measures.
