When I got my bread maker around six years ago I thought at the time it would be one of those gadgets that you use a few times and then it gets pushed to the back of the cupboard. During the first two or three years we used it to make all of our bread and never purchased any bread in the supermarket. Whilst we don’t use it quite that often more, preferring to only make fresh bread at the weekends, it still gets put to regular use in the making of pizza dough. I like the fact that its so easy. Just put the flour, yeast, salt, sugar and water into the bread maker and leave it whilst you do something else. After an hour or so, you have perfect pizza dough. Then just add the toppings of your choice. I added tomato, mozzarella, red peppers and pepperoni to mine. Pictured here is the result before I put it the oven. When this bread maker eventually dies I will be sure to replace it. Certainly a gadget I can’t do without.
