As if normal slugs didn’t cause enough destruction to my crops, now it seems we have giant killer slugs. That’s according to this article which claims Spanish slugs are in the UK. These slugs are a fast breeding mollusc which have been in the UK for a year. They eat crops usually ignored by our native slugs and can also survive eating slugs pellets. It sounds mean but I might have to resort to squishing them.
