This is interesting, its a contraption that could make Yves Rossy the first man in history to cross the Channel as a human jet. That’s if it works. If it fails then he could end up swimming in the Channel. The device is powered by four small engines from a model aircraft and the wings are made of carbon fibre which is strapped to his back. The flight is planned for around the 24th of September depending on weather conditions. I wonder whether he will make it.
