It’s been a bad year or should that be a good year for fleas Our cats have all been treated with spot on and have had their flea collars replaced, something that usually eradicates any fleas. This year, however, there are just so many fleas in the grass that a trip into the garden leaves your leg covered with the critters. The only solution seems to be to treat the garden. With this in mind we have been spraying affected areas with a lemon juice solution and leaving rosemary near pet bedding to deter them. It really does feel like a losing battle. Despite combing the cats every night each time one sets foot outside they are immediately covered again. I’m hoping for a change in the weather to kill them off.
