In an earlier post I commented that it has been a really good for moths. I guess then I should have been ready for the caterpillar explosion. They seem to be everywhere. So far I have found and identified a few species including the tiger moth caterpillar and the Cinnebar moth caterpillar. I have been trying to get pictures of them to aid in the identification process. So far all seem to be moth caterpillars, I am yet to find any butterfly ones. Perhaps butterflies are not faring so well this year.
