It’s been a while since I last posted about my cats. In the time that has passed we have gone from 4 cats, to 1 and back to 3 again. Since losing Willow some years ago, our 3 old cats Oscar, Ollie and Lucy lived out their days peacefully until we lost Oscar 3 years ago, followed by his brother, Ollie, a few months later, both lived to be 20 years old.
With just Lucy left, now at the grand old age of 19 years old, it seemed like a good time to introduce some new cats to the family. We looked at several local cat rescue centres, with many not considering us as a good home because we still have children of primary school age. Eventually we approached Wisteria Cat Rescue and following a short wait we found our lovely new kittens.
Panther and Fevine were tiny when arrived with us in September 2021 but over the past year and half have more than tripled in size to become giant cats. Far bigger than Lucy they have settled into our family perfectly and certainly run the house. Fevine is a typical lap cat who enjoys sitting with me whilst I work and Panther is a mix of lovely and just plain crazy depending on her mood. Between the two of them they certainly keep Lucy fit with all the pouncing games.
